A Curriculum Unit Template for Distance Learning

With schools moving to distance learning it’s important to remember that less is more.

Now is the time to use platforms you are already familiar with such as the Google Suite. Now is not the time to try every new ed-tech product that’s offered you a one-month free trial.

Especially when we think of our students with disabilities, it’s important to create online learning materials that offer choices and can be used asynchronously.

I’ve designed a template for creating a distance learning curriculum unit in GoogleSlides, which I've been using with clients. It’s simple, color-coded, and offers a variety of learning ideas, including the option to add a short video mini-lesson or topic intro. Just "make a copy" and begin editing!
